How to Clean a Toilet Brush?

The toilet brush is one of those household items that can harbour numerous bacteria, some of which may cause infections, particularly gastroenteritis. That’s why it’s important to know how to clean your toilet brush properly.
After each use, rinse the brush with clean water. Once a week, give it a more thorough clean to help remove germs.
How do you do it?

Prepare a bucket with warm water (about 6 litres), add 3 tablespoons of baking soda and leave the brush to soak for approximately 30 minutes. If necessary, scrub the bristles. Then, leave the brush to dry.
The lifespan of this item depends on how often it is used. However, when the bristles start to spread out, it’s a sign that it’s time to replace it.
